REP Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Concord Soccer Association Representative Program is to provide training and opportunities to develop individual and team skills at an appropriate level.  Additionally, to allow players to experience competition at the highest level.  Players, coaches and parents represent the Concord Soccer Association, as a club, while displaying good sportsmanship and a positive winning attitude.

REP Program Philosophy

The members of the Representative Team Program of Concord Soccer Association will work to the best of their ability to field and support representative teams so that all players who wish to participate will have the opportunity.  The emphasis of the program is skill development so that every player realizes his or her full potential.  Concord Soccer Association promotes fair, safe play while developing good sportspersonship and a positive winning attitude in all of the players, coaches and parent supports.
Concord Soccer’s Representative Team’s coaching staff, led by its Director of Coaching, Fran Kulas (full bio here) , is unparalleled in Delaware.

In addition to our teams’ successes in various tournaments throughout the country, in 2009 CSA boasted 5 State Cup Finalists and 1 State Cup Champion and in 2010 had 1 State Champion, 3 State Finalists and 3 State Semifinalists and for 2011 5 State Finalists & 1 Semifinalist
 
What is unique that we offer to our coaches?
 

♦ Provide ongoing coaching education for all coaches, recreational and representative alike, including funding      coaching license fees and sponsoring an annual CSA Coaches Symposium

♦ Online support and comprehensive web-based library to assist coaches in planning their training

♦ Director of Coaching is available to all coaches, recreational and representative alike, via cell phone and          email at all times

♦ Director of Coaching provides complimentary seasonal training sessions and clinics for teams
 
What is unique that we offer to our players and their development?
 
♦ All coaches are in 100% compliance with DYSA Coaching Education Standards
 
♦ Complimentary weekly goalkeeper training for all CSA players
 
♦ Programming decisions such as league placement and tournament participation is overseen by the Director of   Coaching to ensure the best possible experience in the best interest of the players and teams
