As a player, Shannon is perhaps the most decorated female soccer player to ever come out of Delaware. A 4-Time All-State Selection as a player at St. Mark’s High School, Shannon was twice named Delaware High School Player of the Year, and was also awarded the Gatorade Player of the Year and NSCAA All-American. While at St. Mark’s, she led her team to 4 State Championship Final matches, winning State Championships in 3 consecutive years. As a youth player, Shannon was a standout player with the Region 1 ODP Regional Team, Delaware ODP Team, and won several Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup Championships with her FC Delco club team. Following her high school career, Shannon received a scholarship to attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. While at Purdue, Shannon led the program to the program’s first national ranking, first NCAA Tournament appearance, and first appearance in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. College Education: Shannon graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Movement and Sports Sciences and later obtained her Master’s of Business Administration degree from Goldey Beacom College. Other Related Positions Held: She served for one season as the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at NCAA II Goldey Beacom College and for two seasons as the Assistant Girl’s Soccer Coach at Archmere Academy and is also currently the Assistant women's Coach at A.I. DuPont High School. Shannon has extensive experience in working with youth teams. For the past 3 years, she has worked as a coach with the Kirkwood Soccer Club’s Girl’s Academy Teams, and she has led her current U12 Girl’s Team at Kirkwood to the Semi-Final of this year’s State Cup.
