Fall 2010 Season

Congratulations to the Concord Cosmos for winning the Delco Soccer League U12 D3 Championship.  The Cosmos finished their regular season 6-1-2, taking third place overall.  They also won the U12 bracket of the Deptford Fall Festival going 3-0 with a combined score of 13-1 in their three games.  In the semi- finals on Saturday the Cosmos defeated Harleysville Football Club Premier 1-0 on a goal by Brian S halfway through the second half.  On Sunday the Cosmos defeated the Garnet Valley Jaguars 2-0 on goals by Xavier B. and Brian S.

These two victories avenged the only 2 losses during the regular season.  The team put up 7 shutouts in its 11 games this season with Sam B coming up with several big saves over the course of the season to preserve the shutout or the victory. The team outscored its opponents by a 26-10 margin and consistently played up to their capabilities.  The players demonstrated outstanding versatility with 11 of the 15 rostered players either scoring or assisting on a goal.  Congratulations once again to the Champion Cosmos!
