Concord Soccer Association - Founded 1979

Mission Statement:  Concord Soccer Association is a not-for-profit, community-based, volunteer organization devoted to the development of youth through the sport of soccer. Our broad-based approach provides opportunities to play soccer at the highest competitive level appropriate, while fostering character development, sportsmanship, skill acquisition and fun in a positive, respectful environment.

Concord Soccer Association was founded in northern Wilmington to meet the growing needs of the population of the Brandywine Hundred area.  The programs have continued to grow throughout the years.  The association sponsors both Instructional and Representative Leagues.  The Development Program runs in the Fall, Winter (indoor) and Spring seasons for almost 1,000 four to 14 year-olds.  We have over 20 boys' and girls' Representative Program teams with almost 400 players from age 8 through 18.

Concord Soccer is proud of our legacy of talent in both our players and our coaches.   Our Rep Teams are made up of talented and dedicated soccer players, who represent Concord Soccer and Delaware as they play against the best teams from across the region and across America.  We're always looking for players who love the game of soccer, and encourage all interested girls and boys to come to our tryouts and talk to our coaches, players and parents.  Each spring, immediately following the State Cup Tournament, the Concord Soccer Association conducts open tryouts for boys and girls in all age groups.
